Free Stock Tips

Godennifty said,     Indian equities are still holding onto gains on the back of broad based buying seen across the board except IT. Midcap and Small cap index outperformed broader indices.

The Sensex was trading up 159.55 points or 0.97% at 16,611.02 with 21 components gaining. Meanwhile, the NSE Nifty was trading higher by 51.60 points or 1.04% at 5,007.40 with 39 components gaining.
BSE Sensex opened with a gain of 122.40 points or 0.74% at 16,573.87, while the broad based NSE Nifty started with a rise of 39.20 points or 0.79%, at 4,995.00.


I C I C I Bank contributed rise of 30.32 points in the Sensex. It was followed by Reliance Industries (24.01 points), H D F C Bank (12.36 points) and Larsen & Toubro (11.75 points).
 
However, Infosys contributed fall of 11.79 points in the Sensex. It was followed by Bharat Heavy Electricals (8.12 points), Bharti Airtel (5.44 points), Oil & Natural Gas Corporation (4.01 points) and Tata Consultancy Services (3.21 points).


Major gainers in the 30-share index were Sterlite Industries (India) (4.73%), DLF(4.50%), Tata Power Company (4.19%), Hindalco Industries (3.52%), andMarutiSuzuki India (2.75%). 

On the other hand, Bharat Heavy Electricals (2.86%), Bharti Airtel (0.99%), Infosys Technologies (0.75%), Oil & Natural Gas Corporation (0.73%), Cipla (0.63%), and Hindustan Unilever (0.42%) were the major losers in the Sensex http://www.goldennifty.com
