The market saw some profit booking, though it retained its uptrend led by ICICI Bank and SBI. However, the fall in ITC, Reliance, Infosys and L&T limited the upside. The Sensex moved up 64 points to 16,707.74 and the NSE Nifty rose 13.4 points to 5,031.80.
Shares of cigarette major ITC fell over 3% on concerns of slowing volume growth. The company's Q3 net profit grew better than expected 22.46% to Rs 1701 crore year-on-year.

Among others, M&M, Coal India and Maruti Suzuki were down 2-3%. Reliance, HDFC, L&T, Infosys and Tata Motors were marginally lower.
However, ICICI Bank and Bajaj Auto were the biggest gainers among largecaps, shooting up 6.5% each. www.goldennifty.com
