Market seen opening firm on positive Asian equities
The market is poised for positive start on Wednesday on firm Asian equities. Trading of S&P CNX Nifty futures on the Singapore stock exchange indicates a gain of 38 points at the opening bell.
ONGC and Bhel may see action on reports a panel of ministers headed by Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee will decide on stake-sale of these state-run firms today, 15 February 2012, which may fetch the government about Rs 14,000 crore in the current fiscal ending March 2012.
